UNLV, Tonopah Hall, Room 313 - evening

Isabel yawned as she flipped a page in her math textbook and made a mental note to avoid 8:00 a.m. classes in the Spring semester. She was tired but she wanted to get her math assignment done before she went to bed.

Hopefully the sugar from the bag of mini Milky Ways she was working her way through would keep her awake.

"I wish I'd gotten a chance to catch up with you at Homecoming! That weekend was just... crazy. In more ways than one," she added.

"I'm not thinking about the weekend," she said. "Ever, ever again." At least she won't after some point the following week if all went well.

"There's quite a bit of that going around here too," said Hoshi. "Although Parents Weekend is coming up. That's an even better reason to hide, I think."

"Well, my family is smart enough to stay away," said Hoshi. "My problem is that Captain Archer somehow got an invitation and he's coming! I need his recommendation to get into Starfleet. I don't know how I'm going to explain this place."
